Dr. Brad Genereux graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry with a Doctorate in Optometry and earned both a bachelor’s in visual science and a bachelor’s of science prior.
After completing his degree, Dr. Genereux went on to complete a residency in ocular disease at the Ohio State University. Afterwards, he continued to work in a tertiary care ophthalmology setting for many years, focusing on anterior segment, vitreoretinal disease, and neuro-ophthalmology clinics.
He is a passionate researcher and has been involved in numerous studies on novel treatments for eye diseases, including serving as a primary investigator. He has also published in the area of ocular disease. As he continues to further his education, he remains active in research and lecturing, both locally and internationally, on topics related to ocular disease.
Dr. Genereux also serves as a quality assurance assessor for the College of Optometry. In recognition of his care and contribution to the profession, Dr. Genereux was named the Young Optometrist of the Year by the British Columbia Association of Optometrists in 2019.
