Rebecca Lamhonwah graduated with her Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Honours Science degrees in 2016 from the University of Waterloo. From there, she practiced optometry in the Okanagan and did further training through the Optometric Extension Program Foundation (OEPF) and Vision Therapy Canada to specialize in developmental optometry and vision therapy.
Dr. Lamhonwah moved to the Cowichan Valley in 2018 to open a vision therapy practice within Cowichan Eyecare, with the goal of making vision therapy accessible outside of major urban centers. She continues to dedicate herself to promoting awareness of vision therapy, vision-related learning disorders, and post-concussion rehabilitation.
